So here’s my review of Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris. I’ve been really wanting to read this and I’m totally glad I did. It was a funny, at times moving read, although I think that if you work an office job and resent cubicle life somewhat (as I do) or have worked someplace where layoffs are an imminent threat (as I have), then sometimes this novel isn’t as “hilarious” as everyone else says. Harumph.

Random endquotes: Came across this post and found it really lovely. I know I should take down my little pink tree but it’s so dark and cold out that I kind of like having it lit still. Good to know you’re allowed to take your time for whatever reason.

I checked the Ferris book out from the library just before the New Year and am looking forward to reading it. Thanks for the review!
