		<description>The story&#039;s a good read. For me, it&#039;s always important for characters to be imbued with some dignity no matter the circumstances. I find that too much contemporary short fiction finds pleasure in linguistic fireworks that, while sparkly, leave me feeling rather hollow and uninvested in the tale being told.
